Founded in Toronto, Canada, by Joe Repovs in 1972, SAMCO Machinery began with a simple ambition: build a manufacturing business around strong customer relationships and equipment that solved real production challenges.
As customers and applications became more demanding, SAMCO grew with them – bringing engineering and manufacturing in-house, expanding into new industries, investing in technology and developing a broader international presence.
Today, SAMCO designs and manufactures rollforming equipment and production solutions for manufacturers across a diverse range of industries and global markets. SAMCO’s Toronto facility brings design, manufacturing, assembly and testing capability together within a 164,000 sq. ft. operation. The move to Passmore Avenue gave the company additional production space, expanded manufacturing capacity and the ability to support increasingly sophisticated equipment projects within a more integrated environment.
For customers, the facility is tangible evidence of SAMCO’s ability to take responsibility for complex equipment from development through build and testing.

SAMCO’s international growth developed alongside its North American business, with equipment and production solutions supplied into a growing range of global markets.
The establishment of SAMCO India added a permanent manufacturing presence in Asia and created a stronger base for serving customers across India, South Asia and the Middle East.
